2022-23 Gap Year Fellow
I'm an 18-year-old youth voice and climate activist from Greater Manchester, UK. I have been involved in coordinating my local 'Youth Strike 4 Climate' since February 2019, as well as being the Youth Member of Parliament for my constituency of Bury from 2019-22.
I am also passionate about exploring how we can more effectively use technology and social media to find solutions for many of the social challenges and environmental threats we are currently faced with. In this spirit, I am a community builder with Curv, the world’s first movement-driven social network.
I decided to pursue a Gap Year Fellowship with Catalyst following my involvement with the summer 2022 cohort as a mentor. It was clear to me that Catalyst shared my belief that education is the key to societal progress.

A full Gap Year Fellowship costs £48,000. However, consistent with all Catalyst programmes, we do our best to make sure that financial background does not prevent participation. Accordingly, we offer up to 100% financial assistance for selected fellows.
